Sunday School Ministry
THEME: “RESPONDING TO GOD’S GRACE.
Memory Verse: If the Lord is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. –Numbers 14:8; Deuteronomy 4:2; 1 Peter 1:14-15; 2 Peter 1:4 (NIV).

The Stephen Ministry will begin a new series of training classes for prospective Stephen Ministers starting Saturday, September 14, 2019. Classes will meet every second and fourth Saturday in Building Three from 9:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. There are a few slots available for interested members of the congregation who feel that the Lord is calling them to this ministry. Please contact one of your Stephen Ministry Leaders (Deacon Faye Patterson (firstname.lastname@example.org, (H) 540-898-0424); Deacon Eloise Chambers (email@example.com (H) 540-898-0374); Minister Nathaniel Hayes (firstname.lastname@example.org, (H) 540-720-8263); Dr. Judy Coles Bailey (JPColes720@yahoo.com, (H) 540-371-1696), or any Stephen Minister as soon as possible if you are interested in participating in this training. We praise God for the increase! As an aging congregation, our needs are constantly increasing. Women and men are needed; however, we are particularly in need of more men to be trained in providing spiritual care for other men in the congregation. Our goal is to provide a Stephen Minister for every Shiloh Baptist Church (New Site) male or female during their time of need. Please continue to keep the Stephen Ministry in your prayers.
The Shiloh Baptist Church (New Site) Fall Revival will be held on Monday, October 21 to Wednesday October 23 starting at 7:00pm nightly. Our theme is “Standing on the Rock” (Psalm 62:5-8). Our guest revivalist will be Minister Gary Williams, Pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, VA. Come join us for an awesome time!
