Christian Education Ministry
The Christian Education Ministry is in need of teachers for the New Members Orientation Class. If God has equipped you with the gift of teaching to enhance the knowledge of His Word with others, the Christian Education Ministry has an opportunity for you. Please contact Sister Verlean Harley (CEM Co-Chair), Pastor Parrish, or Sister Renee LeMay. Interested members will be trained and practice teaching under supervision prior to teaching a class. New Member's Classes meet the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM.
2019 Graduate Recognition & Baccalaureate Service
We are now accepting names of those who will be graduating from High School in 2019, as well as names of college graduates who completed their studies in December 2018, or will complete their studies in Ma 2019. Honorees include SBCNS members, their family, relatives and graduates throughout the surrounding community. We encourage all 2019 graduates to complete and submit your form no later than April 21, 2019

Our Baccalaureate Service will be held Sunday, June 9, 2019 at 2:00 PM.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School will be held June 17-21, 2019. This year’s theme is “In the Wild”. If you would like to volunteer to assist this year, please fill out a form and return it to an Usher. Forms are located in the foyer on the rack. Volunteers are needed to assist with teaching, music, recreation, crafts, set-up, clean-up, balloon launch, meals, etc. If you have any questions, please contact Deacon Carolyn Oglesby.
Minister Wives and Widows
The Minister Wives and Ministers Widows Alliance of Fredericksburg & Vicinity has applications for scholarships for 2019 graduates. Please see Dea. Barbara Bryant, Min. Jean Meney, or Min. Bernadine Parrish immediately due to time sensitive due dates.
Spring Revival 2019
Shiloh New Site will host its 2019 Spring Revival on Monday through Wednesday, April 22-24. Devotions will start at 7:00 PM and the main service will start at 7:30 PM. The theme will be “Let Jesus Lead You”; and the guest minister for all three days will be Reverend Jeffery Jackson, Pastor of Friendship Christian Fellowship Ministries, Temple Hills, Maryland. We look forward to a glorious time in the Lord.
The Stephen Ministry invites you to join us for our “Because We Care Workshop” on April 27, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the lower church sanctuary. The purpose of the workshop will be to explore topics such as Recruiting and Retaining Stephen Ministers, Serving Care Receivers, Do’s and Don’ts, Best Practices, Training Stephen Ministers from Older Congregations, Ministering to Care Receivers in Smaller/Older Congregations, and other care-related issues that ministries have faced, or which may be faced by a Stephen Ministry or a care giving ministry. All ministry members of Shiloh are welcome to attend; representatives from other local Stephen Ministries and care giving ministries have also been invited.
